The Furry Collar
Once, there were two girls named Ellen and Crystel.One day Ellen invited Crystel over to her house for a Friday night sleepover. Crystel accepted! It was being held at Ellen's house because her parents were out of town. Ellen always bragged about her having so much freedom. It was Halloween and once again, Ellen's parents were out of town. When Crystel rang the doorbell, Ellen answered. "Great! Your here! Come in! " Ellen said motioning for Crystel to come in. "Guess what! " Ellen said closing the door. "I got this great new silk nightgown! "Awsome! Put it on! " Crystel said dropping her things over to the side and jumping onto the couch. Ellen came out of her room a few minutes later wearing the nightgown. It was blood-red and had a furry collar. Crystel envied Ellen for having that awsome nightgown.



Afetr an hour or two of reading magazines, playing board games, and playing "Truth or Dare", they began to watch some scary movies. All of the sudden, Crystel heard a soft "thump, thump, thump, thump." She was frightened and looked at Ellen, who ( for some strange reason ) didn't seem to notice. As the night progressed, Crystel again heard the thumping noise and it seemed to be growing nearer, closer. When the noise sounded like it was coming from right behind them, the electricity and lights went out. Crystel and Ellen ran screaming, up to the second floor, into Karen's room. It was now midnight and the two girls were scared to death. Ellen and Crystel sat on Ellen's bed trembling.



Suddenly, Ellen got up and ran out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Crystel heard Ellen's footsteps down the stairs. Crystel sat there for what seemed like an eternity.She sighed but didn't dare move. After a long silence, she heard the thumping noise again. It seemed to be coming up the stairs, getting louder and louder. Thump, Thump THUMP, THUMP, THUMP! Then, it stopped. Crystel thought she heard someone standing on the other side of the door and bravely got up and opened it.



Crystel couldn't see a thing, so she reached out her arm.Her body trembled in fear. Suddenly she touched Ellen's soft silk nightgown.Crystel let out a BIG sigh of relife. Then, she reached up to feel her favorite part of the nightgown, the furry collar. It was all fuzzy, and, and,wet! When she reached higher, there was nothing but a bloody stump!!! When the lights came on, she discovered that her poor friend had been decapitated!She her eyes bulded wide!!! The neighbors heard her screaming at the top of her lungs and called the police immedently!!! When the police arrived, they found Ellen's dead body, and Crystel, with snow-white hair, completely insane!!!!
